Recently I "sold" my 15in mbp early "11 to some scum in Wisconsin who ripped me off 3000 bucks by sending fake paypal emails and such and well long story short, i was pissed😡. Before I shipped this bastard my computer, i properly wiped the drive but i only did a 1-pass zero out because i was under the impression that i was sending my laptop to a def old lady. When i found out i was stiffed on the money i realized that this guy might know what he was doing and you know...steal my info off my drive. This was 3 months ago. This evening i accidentally misplaced my phone, so i popped onto find my iPhone/mac and as i sent a tone to my phone i noticed that along with my new laptop and phone, there was another laptop on the list. It seems this jerk named his computer bills macbook pro. but what worries me is the fact that it is registered on my icloud account. i changed the password immediately but i dont think he had hacked on.
So here are my questions for everyone: How is my stolen laptop registered with my icloud after being wiped? & How can i find the bastard if its registered but "Find My Mac" was not selected (which it probably wasn't because it was "offline")?
Id really like to put this M***** ********* behind bars because i dont think i was his first victim or his last and i would hate for others to have to go through what i went through. Thanks!
P.S. i know it was totally my fault🙁 and i assume full responsibility for my stupidity😀
