I recently put a deposit down on a fujifilm finepix s1000df (at least that is what the little sign next to it said)

Now I have 83 days to pay off the remaining £63.99 and the camera is mine (I reserved it at cash generators)

Would you say it was worth the £80 I will be paying for it? Or will I not see too much of an improvement (bar zoom) over my current point and shoot? (a kodak md1063)

(edit: just noticed the typo in the total, should say s1000FD)

eBay suggests £80 is quite a high price for a second hand one of these of unknown provenance considering boxed and fully functioning ones are going for as little as £45 when you search completed auctions.
