Finish on the bottom of my 2018 MacBookPro is rubbing off

The finish on withe side of the trackpad on my 2018 MPB is rubbing off. Has anyone else had this issue? I want to trade this laptop in on the new MacBookPro but need to see if this is a consistent problem and they will fix it.
