fire wire cable questio- hooking two macs together

for the fire wire cable, do i need a four to six pin cable? or a six to six? a six to six crossover?

mine is a new pb 15 and his is the imac with the nice base and adjustable neck display.

Do PC's do this? Nah...didn't think so. Macs are great!
