Firefox 28 OS X notification support Attn: Arn

Hey Arn (or any other admin).
I just upgraded Firefox to version 28 and it is now supposed to have osx notification support. If so will you be updating the MR push notifications to support it as well? I would to have this feature when I am on Firefox.
I tried to subscribe via Firefox and it still informed me that I needed to be on Safari to subscribe so I was just wondering.

I'm pretty sure this is not the same as Mavericks Push notifications. These are web notifications and require the website to be open at the time.

I can look into it more.

I may have jumped the gun then when I saw the notifications part sorry about that if that is the case.
