Just curious, I'm currently running firefox 4.0.1, when I load it I see about 26 threads, (for the firefox process under activity monitor), is this a fair amount? I only have 1 or 2 tabs open at such moment.

Also the % of CPU activity shoots to about 98%, but only during the very first seconds it loads, then it goes back to normal (3% or so), I assume this is all normal, right?

Just trying to get used to the process.

EDIT: I think the %CPU usage and some threads are due to google, but I still would like to know what numbers you have...

Just opened it, and the only tab open is the default Firefox start page. 0% CPU and 23 threads.

My Firefox is using 0-1% CPU, and has 23 threads going, with just the tab containing this thread open.
