I think it's always good to have a backup browser. Not even necessarily for sites with compatibility issues (which is fewer and fewer) but to have a separate browser for certain tasks. I do all of my banking and sensitive stuff in Firefox and Safari for all of my other browsing.
Why not just use FF container tabs to keep that separation?

That said, I do use Safari sometimes for non-sensitive things when my privacy settings and extensions get in the way of stuff like loading the reviews when shopping.

I swore by Firefox for years. Then came Chrome and it was utterly amazing. I tried Safari again maybe three years ago and noted… no difference? Except that my MBP didn’t fan up like a jet fighter taking off from an aircraft carrier? AND the battery didn’t deplete in one hour?

So I’ve stuck with Safari, on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. Never looked back. Everything works just fine. Until the next thing comes around and the cycle repeats. ? Maybe I should download Firefox again? ? ?

I do, Firefox is my main browse. Safari is ok, but I can’t get use to it. I not a fan of Chromium browsers except Vivaldi, but they don’t make an iOS version.
Brave is good and *hate myself saying it* Edge as well.
I do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Personally, I use Safari, but at work, Firefox's Multi-Account Containers save this Google admin's life on a daily basis.
Curious, is there any reactions you get using something other than Chrome there?

Not a ton, though I don't necessarily advertise it haha. Switching between Chrome profiles for 10+ Google accounts is a major pain compared to just opening a new tab in a different container.

I prefer Safari overall. It's the smoothest and most integrated browser on Apple's platforms and I like the iCloud integration. Safari is also where I use all my content blockers which sometimes screw with webpages so I like having a clean install of Firefox to fall back to.

Who even uses Firefox anymore? Safari and Chromium based browsers tend to run better than Firefox.
I do. Mostly because I can use it on many platforms (like Windows at work at macOS at home etc.) and sync my tabs, settings and bookmarks. Plus FF is highly customizable, especially in terms of privacy, security and ad blocking. Especially the latter has never worked for me with Safari.

Safari’s content blockers are almost too good, and why I went back to Firefox as my main.

Not really into signing my entire online existence over to Google with Chrome. And Safari isn’t nearly as customizable or easy to make as ergonomic as Firefox. FF is the perfect power user browser.
I couldn’t agree more. Firefox is available on every platform both mobile and desktop which Safari isnt. And it’s far more privacy focused than Chrome. Opera is another option, but I find the rendering in Firefox to be significantly better than opera. There is no better browser today than Firefox.

Meh...Firefox's design looks so old and tired. And on iOS it's cumbersome and annoying. Safari for the win.

I use Firefox on my Windows machine, FF Focus on my iOS/iPadOS, and on my Catalina machine.

I do wonder though if I should still use uBlock Origin now that Firebox has these same features built in? Thoughts?

ublock blocks ads, firefox strict privacy protection does not. if you disable ublock you will see ads on all sites.
