Hi, I've just installed leopard and I've had problems logging into forums such as macrumors on firefox (same problem on camino). Has anyone experienced this problem? I can log onto forums fine on safari.

    This is what I get

    2.0.0.11 here, everything works fine

I don't think it's a matter of which version he has, but there's something else going on.

I spoke to early. All I can say is that it's not the version he's using. First guess (because of my experience) would be that his ISP blocks it somehow. That said, I'm completely ignorant of these issues--much less reading the attached picture.

Note I edited my post to hide my overstep.

Take note that FireFox 3 behaves more like a super friendly OS X Cocoa application.

It's rebuilt from the ground up to be more OS X like in the Safari sense.

I think FF 3 is much better than FF 2 on OS X

Long story short, FireFox 3 is more then likely using the same network settings that Safari does.

Sorry for steamrolling everyone else.

Why don't just use Safari, I think it is the best browser. Better looking the FF3, in my opinion.

You're talking to someone who has...

    Internet Explorer 5.2
    Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows)
    Camino
    Shiira
    Opera
    Safari
    FireFox 3 Beta 2

    ...installed on my Mac.

Note: I'm not running Internet Explorer 6.0 in Windows either.
