I have a Macbook and my hard drive died, so I had to start all over. I was able to save the stuff important to me but I am essentially starting over. Everything seems fine now except for one that that is bugging the crap out of me. When I try to use the TAB button to tab over to the 'submit' button (for websites that have passwords) it skips the 'submit' button and goes to the address bar. For example Gmail. I put in my username, then I TAB over to password and put in my password. I should be able to TAB down to submit and press 'enter' to enter my submission, but when I try to TAB to 'submit' it goes to the address bar. It does this on all websites, even macrumors. But why? I used to be able to but now I can't. I've been through all my options in firefox but I can't find a solution. I tried it out in Safari and it doesn't work there either. So I think it is an OSX issue. Can someone help, this is most annoying!

TIA!

This is an OSX issue - the setting you need to change is in System Preferences, in the Keyboard pane. I believe it's called something like "Enable full keyboard access".

Thank you so much! Oh how the little things that you don't even think about make your life so much easier and when you don't have them you realize how important they are. lol

Thanks again.
