Had to replace my MBP recently, pulled the HD and put in an enclosure. Moved over files to new MBP without issue. However, the single thing left for me to do is get back my bookmarks! I used firefox and as I mentioned I just have the HD formatted exactly as it was in the old machine.
I have searched far and wide for a location for my bookmarks, I have seen .sqlite and .html solutions, in profile folders and others in other system folders. So far I have had no luck finding my old bookmarks on the HD. I don't remember having set up profiles to use with Firefox (had the newest version, computer died about three weeks ago). Does anyone have any suggestions for locating the bookmarks? I had about 100, many of them obscure links that I use for reference.
