I have been having issues on Firefox for a little bit and wanted to see if anyone else is and if there is a fix.

I am up to date on iOS 14.6 and the latest FF 34.0.

I use FF for MacRumors. When I am searching new posts, click on one and read it, and hit the back button it goes back to the top of the page. Then I have to scroll down and find where I was. I have tried this in privacy mode as well. Still have the issue.

This started happening maybe the past two versions of FF. Is there a setting I am missing?

If I delete the app and try again it works normally at first, then goes back to this issue.

Anyone else?

Still having this issue on FF 38.0.

No one else?

Safari does this on iOS 14.8 too.
In Safari, if you click on a link to open in a new tab, a new tab will open of course, but to go back (in Safari) you can just swipe to the right like on a non tab page and the page will close AND you’ll end up on the originating page in the exact same place you left it. (Like it should work).
More often than not (in Safari) if you just click a link and then swipe back, it’ll take you to the top of the originating page (but not always).

I know I’m talking about Safari and this thread is asking about Firefox, but maybe the same technique can be used for FF too.
