Firefox is so much faster

I have it set up to download the latest version of beta firefox whenever it comes out and it is soo much faster than safari. I like safari better though as I find it is cleaner and more stable. any way to speed up safari?

I don't know what the difference is, but Firefox is dog slow on all my Macs compared to Safari.
