I use my iBook only at school and i can't use safari as the vpn doesnt like it for some reason, thus I use FireFox. Although I prefer Firefox over Safari and use it on my PC at home, for some reason whenever I open a page consisting of Flash content, Firefox just locks up and I have to force quit it.

Any ideas?

Have you repaired permissions??? ;) jk

You could always try and delete firefox,
get the newest version from their site,
and re-install it and update it again.
Thankfully, that doesn't take too long.

The flash plug-in is most of the problem. I rarely have it lock up, but it's consistent across most browsers, although I think Apple is jumping through hoops to keep Safari from locking up.

That's not a bad idea. After installing the Flash plug-in, there is generally some permissions problem.
