Firefox Maker Mozilla Discontinues Pocket and Fakespot to Focus on Browser

Services like Pocket save a full copy of the content.

Bookmarks and reading lists generally don't, and the content at the source can change or disappear.

This was really the original dealio.. it save a copy ON DEVICE, mostly on my iPhone or iPad for reading when I was travelling int’l or even domestic in the days when there was either NO WIFI or $$$ WIFI, I could just load up a reading list of things to read, read them, delete them later - that would sync with my pocket, etc.. rinse, wash, repeat.. it was a real tool for this - for me at least.

Mozilla should focus on making Firefox available on ALL platforms, including the underdogs like SteamOS/Steam Deck/Steam Machines. Many gamers love using Firefox due to its simplicity, ease of use, security, and snappy speed, and Mozilla still don't realize that.
