It says a lot that the position of a search bar on some third party software is headline news on MacRumors?
I honestly think they post all the search bar news just to trigger the folks who get unreasonably angry about it and can not help but comment.... boosts engagement, lol.

For years Firefox for iOS had the refresh button at the bottom of the screen. Which I loved. It wasn't until recently that FF got rid of that refresh button at the bottom of the screen. That is why I am back to using Safari. I love the refresh at the bottom. Much easier for me to use. And I like the address bar at the bottom now as well. Took a bit of getting used to but I will keep it at the bottom as long as possible.

Look at the website change ...

We couldn't care less about firefox. I loved the first mozilla, then firefox when I use to have linux as a main OS. But as a MacOS user, safari is a satisfying experience. Light, fast, simple.
You would if you beta test. It’s a good alternative in case Apple changes something that was working fine to a issue which occasionally happens with Safari betas. This update applies to iPadOS also, not just iOS.

I imagine then that that creates a response from someone who can't resist explaining everything.... thus boosting engagement even further.
