Firefox Problem

Whenever I try and open a copy of Firefox 1.0, Firefox opens for about a second in the dock and then disappears.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Edit: I had a moment of clarity after weeks of trying to fix this, and, ironically, it's now fixed immediately after posting this topic. 🙄
