Firefox security issues

Hey Folks,

I heard a rumor about security being compromised for firefox (i'm using 1.5.0.8) and i'm a little worried about doing some online banking at this point. Can anybody either confirm or deny these rumors? Also, I've got safari that i've never really used. Would this be a good alternative for doing my online banking.

-I'd rather use firefox though.. love the multitabs and just the look and feel to it.

Anyhow, you should upgrade to the newest version of Firefox. Especially if you're worried about security... 🙂

i do online banking everyday, dont worry, firefox/mac is a double defense.

Version 1.5.0.9 is on the way, for all those who don't want to switch but I'm not sure what's changed.
