Every time I start Firefox and I get the - Well this is embarrassing message trying to restore sites and tabs message.

I get this every time I initially open Firefox, I assume a Firefox update has caused this to start happening but I cannot stop it.

Firefox will not start up at the selected homepage, and yes I have checked the prefs are right.

I have several Macs all doing the same thing.

EDIT: Just downloaded Firefox onto a different HD running Lion where Firefox has never been before and it is doing on that also.

Anybody know how I can stop this from happening ? Or is it as I assume a Firefox problem which it looks like ?

Reply from a kind person over on the Apple Community forums.
----------------------------------------------

This is a minor bug: Firefox are aware.

To stop it - type about:config in the address bar and hit return.

Scroll down to 'browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash

Double-click 'true' to change it to 'false'.

Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
