Firefox Text & Typing Problem

Hello,

As the title suggests I'm having problems with the text layout in Firefox and even when I type. For example when I'm typing this message it looks like this before i I post it.

Here are the examples:

Text when typing (example mentioned above)

and

Text out of boundaries?

Text overlaps

Any ideas on how to resolve this really annoying problem... THANKS

Have you tried Minefield? It's the beta of Firefox 3. Pretty nice. Otherwise perhaps you should just go with WebKit?

did you try unistalling and reinstalling?

Try uninstalling but be sure to remove the library files also which remain after the user drags the Firefox program to the trash from Applications.

Home Folder > Library > Application Support > Firefox

Delete the Firefox folder.

Also be sure to backup your bookmarks by going to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks then File > Export. Save the Bookmarks.html file to desktop first thing if you don't want to spend time recovering them, They will be deleted after the App Support file is deleted.

Then after the reinstall repeat the steps that you exported only select the import option.

Also check your Font Size Zoom, you may know how to adjust this by using Ctrl and the Mouse wheel sometimes there is an issue with that.

I think the nightly builds are called Minefield and the overall project / official alpha-beta-etc builds are called Gran Paradiso.

I have this issue as well. Bugs the crap out of me. Never did fix it...
