Firefox Updated With Native Support for M1 Macs, Mozilla Touts 'Dramatic Performance Improvements'

We haven't discussed the most important thing yet: Firefox still hasn't updated its icon for Big Sur. Very disappointing.
(Apart from that it's extremely fast, reliable, doesn't use a lot of memory, but that's all second to the icon.)

command-i on the app in /Applications and drag over an icon of your choosing (over the small app icon top left).

Good! My secondary browser is now native!

Now it's the turn of Discord app, Spotify, VLC player... and many, many others.

VLC got with the program back in January of this year 2021, but Spotify has yet to update their app for Apple Silicon which keeps crashing on the M1, so people seem to be leaving in droves.

Look for the column Type or Kind. If it doesn’t appear, secondary click and select that column category to show up on Activity Monitor.

Indeed it is. Even VLC Media Player has an Apple silicon version.
