Every now and then when I'm using Firefox, it seems like the browser window will steal the focus and stay as the top most level window even if I try and open new apps or click on the desktop to change the focus

For example, I'll have Firefox open and I'll click on the Apple menu and it will get highlighted but the menu will be BEHIND the Firefox browser window as if Firefox won't relinquish priority. I also can drag the Firefox window up past the taskbar at the top of the screen (which normally is not possible).

Does anyone know why my system is doing this? Did I trigger something that gives an app absolute priority over everything else? If I quit and re-launch Firefox the issue seems to go away (for awhile at least).

I'm also having this problem. I apologize if bumping threads is a no-no here, but I've been looking online and haven't found an answer.
