Firefox won't open?

Yeah, out of nowhere Firefox suddenly won't open.

When I click the on the icon in the dock, it hops a few seconds, then stops. Nothing else happens.

I've tried downloading and deleting it a couple of times, but the same things happens.

The computer is 15" MBP, 2 GB from early 2009.

Anyone knows what's going on?

Firefox was updated recently, do you recall getting that update? It could be stalling on the upload, but normally an 'Updating Firefox' message box comes up.

Could be a bunch of things. Firefox might be trying to update itself and failing. It could also be a corrupted profile (perhaps caused by a partially applied update).
