Firefox won't remember Window Size?!?

I've been using Firefox for months now but this problem only started happening yesterday. Whenver I would close a window in Firefox and then click on the Firefox icon in the dock it would open up a new window in the size I set. I coud use the green button to switch between the preset size (off to the left) or my desired one. Now for whatever reason, when I open Firefox it opens to a full screen size and when I click the green button nothing happens (it just stays full screen) and my desired preset is gone. How can I fix this and get Firefox back to normal? Thanks
