I found this image in a windows program called, Computer Desktop Encyclopedia. It has two different Firewire ports listed. One of them runs at 400 Mb/s and one at 3,200 Mb/s. The only speed I know of at which Firewire runs is 400 Mb/s. Is the other port listed Firewire 2 or is it a different technology that I'm not aware of? A link to an IEEE database would be helpful if anyone has one. The chart seems to be fairly new since USB 2 is listed.

Mac til death

The First computer I ever used - Macintosh Plus 1Mb (at the age of 3. still works too)

Currently- Dual 867

i've never heard anything about firewire 2 running anywhere near that fast. all i've ever heard is 800 mbps, and then later on perhaps 1600 mbps a few more years down the road. 3200 mpbs just doesn't sound right at all.
