Yebot macrumors 6502 Jul 22, 2005 #4 When I lost all my data on a Firewire drive, Data Rescue X was the only product that allowed me to recover my files. TechTool meh DiskWarrior no Norton what? I was forced to reformat the drive and put it in a new enclosure, but at least I got all my files back. Anyone who uses an external firewire drive should make absolutely certain that they are not susceptible to this problem: http://www.macintouch.com/panfirewire.html Data Rescue X from ProSoft http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php ^ A lovely product. w00t!
