Are you suggesting one cable that does both—a single proprietary iPod [dock] connector on one end and then the cable "y's" to two connectors, one USB and one FW? Don't know of such a beast.

it is crap though that the charging brick doesnt come with it, it always allowed for a faster charge

It's god business sense, and really doesn't effect but a small percentage of users.

I agree. It IS a godly business practice. 😛

I'm kinda irked that they only included the USB cable and not the combo "Y" cable. But oh well. I can't afford an iPod anyway...
