Firewire ports

Hi,

I have a 20" iMac purchased in late 2007. I'm trying to sell it and someone inquired to as if it had both 400 and 800 Firewire ports, or just 400.

I have no idea which I have, can someone enlighten to me to which one I have or how I go about finding which I have?

Hello this is what your firewire 400 port should look like

Firewire 400

and if you have firewire 800

Firewire 800

They will be found on the back of your computer near your usb ports and the like.

If it's the old white iMac 20", you will only have Firewire 400.

The new aluminium iMac 20" has both 400 & 800.

Or more simple:

if you have a white imac, you have firewire 400 ONLY

if you have a silver imac, you have firewire 400 AND 800
