Firewire to USB 2.0?

Has anyone try any the Firewire to USB adaptors? If so did it well?

In which direction? I am not aware of any adaptor that would let you attach a Firewire device to USB2 port. In fact I'm not aware of any that would work the other way either!

Yup, I got one FireWire 800 to USB 2.0. It works well. But remember the transfering data speed is limited by USB 2.0 port

There are no USB <-> FireWire adapters or converters. The two protocols are too different. The only thing that could be used is an actual computer, like a iMac.
