iPod Firewire to USB?

Hi,

I have a 2nd Generation iPod that I want to use on a PC laptop that doesn't have firewire.

Is there a way to buy a cable that goes firewire to USB?

Will it have to be USB 2.0?

You can get a card that plugs into your laptop and has 2 firewire ports on it.
