The city where I live has a huge fireworks display at New Years and it got me wondering if anyone has tried using night mode for shooting fireworks photos?

I’ve never even tried taking a night mode photo of a moving light source to see if it creates a light trail or if its algorithm just gets messed up.

Curious to hear from someone who’s tried.

*My guess is during the fireworks, night mode won’t even activate as the sky won’t be dark enough but we’ll see.

now i see it

Check the AppStore if there's a fireworks app to be used with the camera. Really. I don't know if there's a fireworks app but I do know there's a lightning app that works really well in capturing lightning strikes.
