iPod Classic Firmware 1.1 is out and I totally missed it! Or did they just put it up? :O

Haven't noticed any changed from the previous one so far though...

You may want to try downgrading to 1.03 once you try out 1.1. I had trouble with some albums pausing in the middle and loads of prople are having trouble with the iPod making loud noises after it's on pause for a few minutes.

If the OP doesn't notice any differences then it wouldn't hurt to just leave it. My original problem with background noise through headphones when the iPod is off actually went away. You can always downgrade later.
