Firmware Password Question - rMBP

Considering install of firmware password on my rMBP. To those of you who have done so what is your recommendation, things I should consider, any negative experiences that you may have encountered.

My only recommendation is do not forget the password, ever. If you do, you'll never get back into it.

You have to schedule an appointment at your local Apple store to recover a firmware password.

Apple can. They have to talk to TSPS to generate an unlock code, but they can do it.

They will also need proof of ownership/ID etc for obvious reasons
