Last week I ran updates for programs..ect on my mac.
now everytime I restart my computer I get this message:

No Updatable Devices Found
No Devices were found that require this firmware update.

now how would I go about finding out what this pertains to?...so I dont keep getting this message.

this message isnt anything that important since I just click ok and go about doing whatever else.

Does this message appear once the computer is totally booted up, or before the gray Apple logo appears?

its after its totally booted up...so it seems to be a program update to a prog that I dont have..or something of that sort.

Hmm... before closing that box, open Activity Monitor (Applications -- Utilities -- Activity Monitor) and see whats all running... maybe that dialouge box would show up in there?

ok..I think I may know what that error is from..."Superdrive update 2.1"

anyone know what this is and if I need it.

Oh whoa, what sort of Mac are you using? If its a MacBook or Pro, try this. Right here

If you have a desktop... try it anyway. :p

Yea, its a macbook. the one in my sig below.
I'll give this a try when I get home today.

thanks for all your help
