Apple recently released the new firmware so that the June 2009 MBP is capable of 3Gbs. All I've been reading are the their SSD is no longer works.

Is there anyone out there that has the update and their SSD still works? I have the 15" June 09 MBP with the updated firmware and looking to get a SSD drive soon. I'm deciding between the OCZ 120GB Summit/Vertex, still undecided.

If you have one working, did you notice any difference after the firmware? Can you run xBench results? Thanks.

All i can tell it works flawless. The overall gain is like 30-40% and 100% for some area.
I have a Falcon 128G SSD which use the same controller as OCZ vertex. I also read from OCZ forum there is no one report issue with OCZ vertex, but someone has issue with summit.
