firmware update

I just did the macbook pro firmware update.

Followed instructions exactly.

My mbp made the beep when i held down the power button but is now stuck on the blue screen .

Has been for 10 mins. There is not a staus bar indicating progress.

Should i turn the mbp off and try again?

NO!! Just leave it.. DO NOT POWER OFF!

Some times it takes a while for the machine to reboot!!

In some cases, it'll take up to 20 mins, if not more...

thanks very much. Progress button is now going across screen all but slowly.
