If you look at the side of the box near the beginning of the video, it shows 38 mm, not 42 mm. Also, though at first I thought this was a man's wrist, one look at the ring on the right hand showed that it is a woman.

When the guy in the video turns over the external packaging to get at the internal box holding the Watch, it begins to fall apart. Do you think that's because he already "cut the tape" securing it in there? Or did Apple make a package that is likely to fall open when people are digging for that internal box?

He already opened it - in the gif below the video there are tabs to pull the inner box out, you aren't supposed to dump the box out of the box.

It's nice to see there is a long charging cable for it. Although it's not as if you can use the watch while it's charging...

Why are we so sure it's a "he"? That's a women's ring on the right hand, the watch is 38mm but appears large on the wrist.

They must have already opened the box once as there was no cellophane wrapper on the outer box or tape on the inner box. What they also didn't show was the charger unit that plugs the cable into the wall.

Definitely looking forward to a proper unboxing video from DetroitBorg on YouTube!!

Wow... Apple what happened to your packaging? First of all TWO boxes? Secondly those are pretty big boxes for a watch. I thought at first I was looking at a Mac Mini unboxing.

How do you know the charging cable is of good quality? Did you touch one already and inspected it personally? What is cumbersome about it? It's just a charging cable.

It's seems longer than the typical lightning cable included with iPhones/iPods/iPads and I wouldn't say that cable is as convenient as a lightning cable, given the large connection point on the end (not sure what the technical term is). I didn't say i knew it was a "good" wire...I said it lookalike decent quality, as with the lightning cable we all know so well. Considering that watch costs at least 575 USD, I'd expect a pretty good cable.

Oh boy, the upgrades are very enticing. We're going for the simplest combo - Apple Watch Sport with simple black band. And then we'll download our Apple Watch games and stop working for a few days. Um, I mean, we'll be testing our games. Yeah, QA, that's what I'm calling it.

Do my eyes see what they think they're seeing? No included charger in the box? If so, wow... As much as I love Apple; that's insane they can't-don't-won't include a charger with a $350+ item.

Yes, I know I can use my iPhone's charger to charge the watch but come on. What happens if they both need to be charged at the same time?

Dude what are you smoking? What do you think that long a$$ cable they pulled out of the bottom of the box was?

Wait a freaking second! So you get a long ass charging cable for the watch, but for years have been getting a short ass charging cable for the iPhone? What the hell :apple:?

Yes. Your eyes need LASIK.

She clearly pulled both a USB charger and charging cable out of the box.

Next time, pay more attention before commenting.

Actually... No, you can see the spot where USB brick would be, but it's never shown in the video. Obviously they will include one.

I am not interested in the Apple Watch at all. Seeing these videos reinforced my opinion. Sorry. It just doesn't do it for me. The tech behind the sensors that can read your health are very interesting and I hope to see them advance quickly. But as it is, what I am looking at with this first iteration (design and concept of a piece of jewelry), I have no interest in it at all.

I was referring to a wall charger, not a USB cable.

that's exactly was I was referring to.
