First AT&T bill for 2 months??

I just got my first bill for my iPhone. AT&T charged me for 2 months, the one I've used and they are forward charging for next month. My bill is $154!! Is this normal? I haven't read about anyone else mentioning this. Why do they bill a month ahead??? 😱

I assume this is normal, the same was done for my first month.

actually, I DID try the search feature. I didn't find anything about being double billed the first time. Thanks so much for the help.

weird, i got a prorated month to december 5th and then my new month, activation and all. it's a hefty bill but will be smaller next month for sure

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem! My first bill is for $164 and I'm well within my minutes limit!

My first bill was for one month plus activation.
