I recommend three things. First, get activation fee waived by calling customer care. Tell them you are new customer and you think 36 dollars activation fee is little bit too harsh. Be nice to them. Don't harsh on anything you say. Most likely, they will waive it. 36 dollars is not a small money. I would say every penny counts. Also, you should register for AT&T referral program, and have someone refer you. So, you can get your 25 dollars gift card mail it to you in like 4-6 weeks? You can also use it to pay your bill. Another thing is about fan Account. Assuming you are a student or worker. You will most likely get a discount on your cell phone Bill. As long as you are not self-employed, you will get your work discount. I would also suggest check your bill to make sure you did not go over your data or messaging.
