Can someone explain what the following two images mean, occurred on first boot up out of the box. Looks like mouse ?

I also saw the same with my MBP. I didn‘t own a wireless mouse or keyboard at the time. I think I just escaped past it.
On a side note, I have since bought a wireless mouse and I am plagued with constant Bluetooth drop outs and reconnects like the hundreds of others reporting the same on apple community forum. (and here)
 
Same ( not sure about Bluetooth drop outs yet ) I don't have wireless mouse . Weird, all good.

Looks like a bug in macOS. This pairing dialog should only appear if no mouse and / or keyboard is connected to the Mac.
That’s unacceptable for a laptop of this price 😂😂 sorry couldn’t help myself , been hanging around the iPhone forums too long.
