There is no noticeable improvement in shatter resistance compared to previous models. I'd even venture to say that the 6 's dimensions make dropping it more risky than before. Personally in all my years of owning an iPhone since the first-gen I haven't shattered one... Nonetheless, the 6 + seems a bit too large to go without any protection.

The results in the second are relatively excellent surprisingly.

Why does this worry anyone? Are you planning on playing basketball with your iPhone? Just don't drop it goofball. 🙄
 
Doesn't bother me too much. As long as you are careful, shouldn't be a problem. They have AppleCare for a reason, as long as you don't drop it more then twice. 😉
 
I hear the Plus has a more brittle screen than the 6, due to increased surface area.

Any truth to it ?
