First ever blog/foray into the net - Tips?

I've signed up to the .mac trial, so wanted to see how well it worked with iLife. To this end, I've stuck up a blog, that I'm tempted to keep going. The url is in my sig, just wondered if anyone had any tips or pointers? All (constructive) criticism welcome 😉

I agree that the white on black isn't the most readable but the blog itself is great.

The best blogs I've read are:

1. Updated on a regular basis
2. Devoted to a subject or series of subjects that the author is genuinely interested in.

I have a blog on my website (see sign.) and no, I don't update it on a regular basis but since the website is devoted to my passion of family history, I've had quite a few people read it.
