Thanks. Yes I did. I put my username where the serial number should go to fill up some space. Since the forum redesign with the circular avatars happened around the same time that my Apple Watch arrived and the iOS 9 beta was unveiled, I was inspired to mash it all together. I briefly tried one with the El Cap background but it didn't look as good.

iOS style blurs are pretty easy to do in Photoshop. Take a copy of your layer and put a mask on it of whatever shape you want. Then run Blur Gallery > Field Blur on it with a radius of around 50px. Then put a brightness/contrast adjustment layer with a clipping mask on top of that layer. Lower the contrast around 20% and then adjust the brightness until it looks about right.

Well that's quite cool. You did a fantastic job. :)

It also appears that you know Photoshop as well as I know Sony Vegas Pro, nice! :D

Yeah I've been using Photoshop since version 5 when I was a kid. You should see the crazy layer comps I have when designing an app lol. So many UI Views!

Your avatar is nice and simple. I like it. I'm thinking about doing something flatter with solid colors, maybe around the time of the iPhone event early next month. For now I'm rocking the iOS 9 beta look.

Getting smart devices is not smart.
For 5 months I was a a hostage in my own house by hackers. Hackers got into my home and took over every electrical device in my house and envied my privacy in every aspect of ones life. Even took control over my
Hackers knew everything about my life and when and were I was 24 hours a day.

This sounds unbelievable but true. But the hackers had know fear of me knowing their presents in my life in fact they they communicated to me by my own devices making themselves comfortable as the taunted me with their tricks of deception.

Why would anyone want to hack me. I keep asking. Im a loner with little assets. And because their technology and equipment was up scaled, far beyond what a average hacker may have, I thought the government was behind this using me as a test project.

On October 31, I learned that in the beginning of 2015 Apple computers had its first virus attracts. And the issues were exactly the same that I was having. Hacker taking total control over your device with a dominos affect that takes control over all devices in a persons environment. This virus/malware is called Thunderstrick and Thunderstrict 2. Associated with Apple Computers manufactured 2011 and after.

The Big problem Im having is the fact that the Apple Company keep quite about the Thunderstrike virus attack which caused me and my family hardship and stress. I first became totally aware that my 2012 Macbook Pro had major problems and was under attact in May 2015 . All the signs were present but not only was my MBP affected every device in my home was . iPhone 5 , Samsung tablet, Windows PC, LG cell phone and much more. Most of which is currently damaged from thunderstrike. Also I lost my job due to the fact I had know working computer which was necessary. And to top if off I tried to replace the damaged devices with new ones that soon became affected as well.

This all sounds crazy. But I blame Apple. Not for me getting a virus but for not informing the consumers, people like me that there is a serious malware attract on Apples computers . From May until October I called Apple support team with all my daily problems, once or twice weekly and keep explaining that I had hackers on my computers. My calls were a joke to the Apple Team . They made me feel as if I was a crazy person who sees spaceships or monsters at my house . I spoke with 50 to 70 employees and maybe one believed that I had a hacker problem . I would explain that my firmware had been changed and missing things from computer and that my computer was being taken over. Most of the employee would recommend having my OS changed . But I had it changed 20 times in which 4 times was due to having my firmware lock me out. I even bought a new MBP , iPad , Air Port Time Capsule. Money I couldn't afford but I needed my life back and gain privacy in my home.

I was delighted to finally know I was not alone and that there is information on Macbooks being hacked. But I was also disappointed and upset that Apple knew of this problem and failed to let consumers or their customer support team knew about this serious problem.

I would not have to live the past 6 months in hell. If given the information in the beginning I would had been able to make arraignment and decisions concerning the issues . Knowledge is power! My family and I would not have been so stressed . We would have had to cancel our summer vacation. So many negative things surrounded my life when a hacker invaded my privacy and stoled personal files and pictures from my computer. And so much could had been avoided and may not had even occurred. If Apple would had informed consumers about this threat . Apples may not be responsible for the malware but I believe Apple had a duty to inform me about the possibility of being infected with Thrunderstict2 once I gave them the symptoms of my devices. But also i had informed Apple while still under warranty that I felt my computer was a "LEMON" and never preformed to its ability.

I believe Apple keep Thurnderstick quit and hidden from the public. Making customers to believe that Apple is still virus and malware proof, especially since Thurnderstick came out around the same time Apples new watches launch on the market.

Apple you owe me! I would like to put this matter to rest know that the problem is known.

You've obviously been through a torrid time, but working on law of averages, what's more likely, a proof of concept virus created by researchers for mac by using dodgy thunderbolt leads, or the plethora of viruses available on Win PC or Android which have compromised your network & passwords? Just sayin' where's the mention of these two for owing you?

You feel me. I've been violated. I'm beginning to believe it was Researchers or a government agency used me as their test project. I wondered why I was finding log reports that refered me as the client. Every thing I did was being logged and documented " the client is trying to open a application from DVD" i don't think hackers would be so polite. What recourse do I have?

We have been getting hacked, for the last two years, and I have tried everything, to attempt to remove this from our lives. We have two 2012 MacBook Pro’s, one iPad, one iPhone XR and one iPhone 7 Plus.

How did you end up getting rid of this worm?

BTW: how does one reset the chip?
Which is what I’ve read, is the way to fix this. Is it possible I have this, or version two, or is it possible that I have something new? The reason that I believe I’m being hacked is because I had pages of screenshots that I made on my MacBook, are now missing. When I try to get into the modem after resetting it back to factory, once l put the passwords into it, l can no longer access it, from any browser on my MacBook Pro. We have been terrorized for the last, two years. I have a long laundry list of things that of happened to us. I have taking all of my devices back to Apple and had them reset, or only be hacked again once we get home and start using things.

The poster your replying to hasn’t been active on this forum since November 2, 2015... The same day he made that post
