iPad First generation cellular locked in UK?

Hi

I have a first generation cellular iPad bought in the UK. It was originally with O2 and I thought at the time it was locked to this network. Does anyone know if that would have been the case.

If so, can it be unlocked?

Did you buy it direct from O2? If so, probably locked, especially if at subsidized price. Check on their website if they offer an unlocking service.

The original iPad wasn't available through carriers at all so it won't be locked. The first carrier to offer iPads was three if I remember correctly.

With that said o2 was the first carrier to offer decent iPad data sims
