Just popped in to the Apple Store for a look at the watches. Initial impression is they look really nice, they look like high quality items. I was surprised at the size, for me the 38mm is a lot smaller than expected, glad I ordered a 42mm.

The steel watches with the link bracelets look high end. If this product takes off and is a success it will be a steel watch I buy for the next model.

I have an appointment to try one on later today so will comment once I have had a hands on however first impressions....very nice!

I've heard this quite a few times in the past 12 hours. I'm about 173mm, which surprises me because I was positive I had small wrists until I started reading 155-170mm posts in the forums. That said, I was still a little nervous but I'm glad I went with the 42.

38mm is really small. 42 is bearable. I normally wear 48 to 50mm and I have small wrists.

Best thing people could have done is gone to a watch store and look at 38/42 watches.
