This guy said that iOS 8 was a rumour. Come on, that's bull. The event is always used to promote the next versions of iOS and OS X.

I see what they did there... the X in Mavericks is white because it didn't get a new UI, and iOS 7's is colorful because it did, iOS 8's is white and OS X's will be colorful, I bet
