Damn, that’s one ugly phone, can’t wait for mine to arrive in about 12 hours.😉View attachment 2064862
Purple is stunning
It's a little thing called timezones. Why do the Aussies and Zealanders always get the new Apple stuff first?
True, if you touch the phone screen a lot when it’s flat on a table, it’s not at all ideal.Well, because it rocks I don’t do that. If it didn’t, I would do it a lot (push on the phone by virtue of using it). It’s not really conducive to being used sitting flat on a table with no case, which is how I roll (no case).
It is embarrassing that iPhones still use pulse-width modulation (PWM, flickering) to control display backlighting.
Both colors look fantastic!Comparison of 13 PM Graphite vs 14 PM Space Black, and 13 PM Sierra Blue vs 14 PM Deep Purple

@Sammy in SoCalCheers. The gold is the same as the 13 Pro
My first computer was a Timex Sinclair. It was so hard to type on I only used it Christmas Day. My aunt and uncle gave it to me.Many are too young to remember those days. (I remember having TI-99/4S with a cassette tape as storage)
it didn't look that big in the pics are you returning it for a pro?Yes. Pro Max is too big IMO

yeah agreed, recommended any good cases? It’s honestly such a big and unruly phone but I just can’t quit the larger screen. The MagSafe PopSocket really helps with one-handed operation though.
I think Apple just needs to evolve its Reachability feature if they're going to give us larger and larger phones.

so with the apple care plus, if you drop it they'll give you a new one? Pitaka is great case!I tend to go with the Caudabe Sheath and Pitaka MagEz Case. I like the Pitaka since it's thin and grippy, and the bottom is open, so you get that smooth swipe-down action without a case bumping up on it. Conversely, the Caudabe is substantially beefier in comparison but also provides an excellent grip. I tend to switch it up depending on what I'll be doing.
Some people don't like that the bottom of the Pitaka is exposed and less protected, but I think it's the closest to having a fully naked phone.
I would consider going case-less, especially with the new AppleCare+ Unlimited repairs, since it would be cheaper to get a replacement phone ($30), but the phone is just too damn slippery.

I have the iPhone 13 Pro with AppleCare via the iPhone Upgrade Program and I wanna change the battery (it's been kinda crappy), do you know how much they'll charge me?Yep, drop or lost, you can replace a screen or back glass damage for $30, and it's also just $149 to replace a new phone in case it was stolen or lost.
If the phone were easier to hold grip-wise, I would probably save the money I would use for cases, but alas.
It’s the Pro not Pro Maxit didn't look that big in the pics are you returning it for a pro?
For me coming from the iPhone X the 14 Pro Max's Cameras look ginormousI must say... after having my 14 Pro for a few hours, I still can't get over the camera lenses. They're frikkin' huge.
Sat it next to my 12 Pro and what a difference. Bigger in all aspects.
My Spigen slim armor is working overtime on this one. 😂
I noticed the light is a bit warmer on the 14 Pro which I like but the brightness is the same to me. Is it on full? For me coming from the iPhone X the 14 Pro Max's Cameras look ginormous
Disappointed though the torch function is way more powerful on my X compared to the 14 :/
Thanks for this. It does look a bit different on the Apple website.@Sammy in SoCal
It might look the same, but Apple did have a box on their iPhone 14 Pro product slide during the event which stated “Four new colors”, so they must have changed the tone or colour temperature slightly to warrant that statement.
