Where you seeing the trade in value for the 15pm’sProbably only dirty looks
They don't have anything about the 16's yet. I just signed into my account and a message popped up on my screen showing that ridiculous trade in offer for the 15.Where you seeing the trade in value for the 15pm’s
I will never, ever do a trade in or finance a phone. I did it with the 14 Pro Max due to T-Mobile offering a crazy amount for my trade in. But they apparently never received the phone after I handed it directly to an Apple employee. Want to guess who's responsible if a trade in phone isn't received by the carrier? So not only did I have to buy the phone outright, but I was also screwed out of the resale value of my old phone. Every year before I bought the phone outright and never experienced a single issue. Never, ever, EVER again!Last year was the first time I just bought my iPhone outright (lots of Apple gift cards). I suspect I’ll do the same with my wife’s phone this year. I’m not paying $60 MORE per month for 3 years to get a “free” 16Pro.
Yes. It was stated that in the presentation and it’s been like that foreverSince I have an 8+, any trade-in has long since disappeared. The article includes a link for pre-ordering with AT&T. When you get to the page, you have to scroll down a bit. Then, you enter your email address. It looks to me that pre-ordering starts this Friday.
This is exactly how it works. I would totally go for a free 16 so I can give my 15 to my mom(her phone is on it's very last legs but she absolutely refuses to buy a new one), but all their "deals" would require us to switch plans and double our bill. It's about $220 now for 8 lines including home internet and several connected devices, and Go5G would kill our free lines and bump us up to almost $500/mo. Over 24 months, I would be paying over 4x the retail cost of that "free" phone."eligible unlimited plan".. I wish MacRumors was more specific about this. My fear is T-Mobile will "upgrade" me to one of those Go5G plans that costs more than my current Magenta plan, and over a 24-mo period, the "free" iPhone Pro won't be so free.
If you are asking this question, your plan is not eligible. I know my one plan isn’t."eligible unlimited plan".. I wish MacRumors was more specific about this. My fear is T-Mobile will "upgrade" me to one of those Go5G plans that costs more than my current Magenta plan, and over a 24-mo period, the "free" iPhone Pro won't be so free.
Yep. To get the max from t mobile you must be on the Go5G plans which is their top tier"eligible unlimited plan".. I wish MacRumors was more specific about this. Do we know of any other store with better offers?
A smart consumer! I didn't know they still existed...Yeah, this seems to suck if you're in a grandfathered top tier plan. I have "Get More" with Verizon, and their latest top tier "Unlimited Ultimate" plan showing in the trade-in offer costs more for less. Looks like it would be almost $800 more in plan charges over those 36 months. Blah.
This is what they’re requiring, when I checked it increased my bill by $90 per month so needless to say I’ll take the Apple trade in value of 650 and break even after four months"eligible unlimited plan"..
