What percentage of people (college kids, etc.)
- Buy an extra battery?
- Replace their internal hard disk, RAM, etc?
- Even know what an ethernet cable looks like?
I don't think these things even register to most people. Sure some of you might "need" these things, but most don't. That's why Apple offers different models to suit different needs.

What market, exactly, are they going for? If THAT is their market, they botched the pricing. College kids will pay $1000, $1300 for a computer. NOT $1800, at least, not me. My limit was $1300. A lot of $1000 dells, etc. I think you're judging this based on the wrong market.
