I just got a mbp and an imac a couple of weeks ago, so I know the feeling. I can honestly say I'm addicted to my computer now. I absolutely love expose!

Great post. I am so jealous.. Still waiting for mine :(

I even went down to my local Apple store today to play with the new icore MBP's to satisfy my impatience :D (The Wife dragged me away after 10 minutes, or I would probably still be there now!!)

When I first got my MacBook pro I couldn't put it down! I didn't even study or my quiz I had the next day. I love technology... It gives me a high whenever I know something new is being shipped to my house.

The one thing I've learned with Mac is how easy it is to "fix" things...

I deleted my old Macbook Air Time Machine backups after I got my new high end 15inch a couple weeks ago.

After taking FOREVER to prepare to delete, some of the files would not delete and I could not empty my trashcan. So I google search "osx can't empty trash"...and what comes up? A neat little program called "Trashit". I took the 34 seconds to download and install it and "BOOM", empty trash. How ***** long on Windows would a fix like that have taken?!?!

I just checked 'About this Mac' and the model number is ST9500420ASG, run a search on google and I found it's the Seagate Momentus

Thanks. That's a pretty well-regarded drive capable of SATAII transfer rates. Nice to see that Apple has stepped it up some.

I remember installing software for the first time on a macbook. I kept thinking "I must be missing something, this is too simple." Eventually I realized it was that simple. And I can get right to work on whatever. No tinkering; it just works. That's why I am still a customer.
