First Mac OS

Does anyone have a pic of the first OS of Mac? I'm curious about Mac OS 1.0, 2.0.1 or whatever was first, to Mac 5.0/5.1. Any info?
 
I have my original System disk stored away somewhere in my closet. System 1.0 on a 400K disk. Takes me back a few years!
 
I thought it would be kinda cool and retro, but I've used it on my MBP under emulation and it's really pretty far from what I'd call a usable OS. Sure it was pretty advanced for the day, but it's really not as cool as it could be. System 7 is the first 'decent' retro OS IMO...

No, AU/X was far from the first OS Apple had for Mac. You needed a big "mac II" or bettr to run it. It was not popular and as I remember it was expensive. It's really to bad they did not continue it. We would have has Mac OS X a decade earlier.

I have two "512K Macs" with software in my attic. These were very close to the first Macs. There is no way those little machines could run UNIX.

ha i still remember os 7.2-5? it was on my performa 5220 cd. strange how i can still remember my first computer. 75mhz and 16mb ram and 1 gig hdd. oh those were the days....

Power Macintosh 5200/75 LC
32MB EDO RAM
75MHz PPC 603
256k L2 Cache
800MB Hard Drive
CD Drive 4X!
Mac OS 7.6, 8.6, and 9.0.4

LOL!!!!

Best Mac EVER! I always wanted to max out the RAM!
